I started art rather late in life, at fifty years old.

After being downsized from an office job, relocation counseling and a test of my interests both showed up in the artistic area. I took a foundation art course at Centennial College and applied into the second year at The Ontario College of Art and Design, where I completed my diploma.

I love working in all different areas; it keeps me fresh.  I like working from the imagination, from real life, expressing feelings and recycling failed paintings with oils.

Every week, a fellow artist and I sketch in the gardens around Toronto.
