TORONTO ARTIST
Christa Galligan
I started art rather late in life, at fifty years old.
After being downsized from an office job, I did relocation counseling and a test of my interests, and both showed up in the arts.
I took a foundation art course at Centennial College and applied into second year at The Ontario College of Art and Design.
I love working in all different areas; it keeps me fresh. I like working from the imagination, from real life, and using my art to express my feelings.
Every week, a fellow artist and I, sketch in the gardens around Toronto. These works are now part of my latest show, BLOOM.
